Love Applewood Farmhouse! We usually eat breakfast here but tonight decided for dinner. Walked in at 7:55 and the place was full. We were greeted immediately and taken to a table. Waitress was very pleasant and it was not until 8:20 when we realized the place was becoming very empty really fast. Then realized they closed at 8. I can't tell you how often I've been turned away 1/2 hour before restaurants closed. We of course apologized and quickly got out, but we were served the most amazing meal first as the staff would not here of us leaving without eating. I cannot thank Applewood enough for their professionalism and commitment to customer service.Thank You!
First time going and it was fun . A lot of stuff more then a restaurant , have wine tasting, ice cream shop , gift shops , apple butter. $16-$17 a plate at the restaurant but it was a good experience food was good and service was good. Would recommend trying. A lot comes with your dinner apple fritters for complimentary appetizer, then salad or soup comes with meal and two sides comes with every meal, fried chicken is the way to go for entree you will be full , mom got chicken and dumplings said it was amazing . Meatloaf my dad got was the only disappointment don’t get . Then every meal comes with dessert too.
We came here for brunch and didn't wait too long to get in on a Saturday (for 2 people). We explored the apple shop while we waited and sipped on a cider. The apple fritters were the best thing we ate. Absolutely delicious. The rest was pretty standard diner food. And it was A LOT of food. We couldn't finish it all. I'd recommend sharing if you aren't looking to eat a huge meal. Overall super cute vibe and we want to come back to explore the other apple shops.
So much stuff to see, more than a restaurant , winery, bakery, and they make candy. The food and staff were amazing. Each meal came with apps of apple fritters and a drink the apple cider and a dessert, the apple spice cake was delicious. The fried chicken was amazing. Huge portions as well.I would highly recommend!
While on vacation with my friend’s family, we went here on occasion that his mother suggested we go. I’ve never been, but heard great stories from his mother. I went in with hopes high, and they were matched. I got the chicken and dumplings with a side of green beans and mac ‘n’ cheese. Everything was amazing. In the midst of my gorging feast, I had forgotten that dessert had came with the meal. I had opted for the apple cobbler however, they had ran out. Instead, o got the cola cake. Albeit, a bit misleading, (thinking that the cake was going to taste like coca-cola) the cake was amazing as well. The meal was on par with my expectations. Very well done, guys!
Took my husband here for his birthday. We went for breakfast. WE SHOULD HAVE SHARED. When you are seated they bring out Apple Julep for everyone (fancy apple juice) and a basket of Apple Fritters and mini muffins with apple butter on the side. I ordered Bacon and eggs with homefries, thinking that home fries, grits, biscuit and gravy and fried apples was an either/or kind of thing. Was informed by waitress there was no need to choose, it came with all. My husband had Sausage, eggs and huge pancakes (also came with biscuit). You definitely get your money's worth.
Great restaurant. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly outside. Awesome complimentary apple fritters. A little pricey for basic foods but the quality was good. Friendly service.
Restaurant was clean and staff practiced social distancing with seating. Staff members were wearing masks, were very courteous and seated us promptly. The service was excellent and the food was high quality with generous portions. It was an enjoyable experience.
My wife and I had our wedding reception dinner here with our immediate family. The staff here set us up in a private room. The room was very quiet and secluded. The service was fantastic. The food was fantastic. Overall it was the perfect place for what we wanted. I cannot wait to return and eat there together again.
This place is always good! Everything they serve is done with excellence. Our family goes here often when we’re in town. Last time I had the pork chops and everyone agreed they were top notch, even compared to high end steak houses. Fried chicken is super good too!
